Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

Wave Creative (“Wave,” “we,” “us”) operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you use it, why we collect it, and how you can reach us about it.

Information we collect

When you submit our contact form or book a call, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email, phone number, and details about your business. We don’t collect anything beyond what you enter into that form.

Separately, if you accept analytics or advertising cookies (see “Cookies and tracking” below), we also collect general usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type — through Google Analytics and, if you accept advertising cookies, the Meta Pixel.

How we use it

We use the information you submit through our contact form to respond to your inquiry, schedule a call, and evaluate whether Wave is a good fit for your business. We use analytics data to understand how this site is used, and — only if you accept advertising cookies — to measure our ad campaigns and show ads to past visitors of this site on Facebook and Instagram (retargeting). We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with third parties except the service providers described below, who help us operate this site.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies for two purposes, each requiring your consent before it runs — nothing below fires until you choose, via the cookie banner or the preferences link at the bottom of every page:

  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4). Collects usage data — pages viewed, session behavior, approximate location, device/browser info — via cookies including _ga and _ga_*. Used only to understand how the site is used; not used for advertising.
  • Advertising (Meta Pixel). Collects browsing behavior via cookies including _fbp (and _fbc if you arrived from a Meta ad). If you’re logged into Facebook or Instagram, this data can be linked to your account there. We use it to measure ad performance and to show ads to past visitors of this site on Facebook/Instagram — this is the one part of this site that enables retargeting, and it’s off unless you explicitly turn it on.

Both Google and Meta process this data outside Canada, primarily in the United States, under their own privacy policies: Google’s Privacy Policy and Meta’s Privacy Policy.

Your choices

When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept, reject, or choose which of the two cookie categories above you’re comfortable with. You can change your mind at any time — reopen your preferences here:

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we automatically treat that as an opt-out of advertising cookies — you don’t need to do anything for that to take effect.

Third-party services

Our contact form is provided by Tally, and call scheduling is provided by Calendly. When you use either, your information is also subject to their own privacy policies, including any cookies or tracking they set independently of this site.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time — just email us using the contact information below.
